Not working today as we don't have enough work in grocery for three people to do. Mark and Ron are working today and maybe Jack some. I got up and showered and worked on the checkbook, as today is payday. So far by my calculations I will basically come out even on this summer job by the time I get home. Having to travel back home for a funeral really ate up my profits from this summer work. I don't mind that as it is better than being in the red after the whole summer of work. The biggest expense next to lodging is gas cost. It is very high this year. I think the new democratic controlling party has something to do with that. Just my opinion.
